Ron Paul to Chair Monetary Policy Subcommittee

YES.

“Merry Christmas Ben Bernanke, your worst nightmare has arrived with power.”

At least, it’ll be an improvement over the status quo.

I’m sure the Fedsters will be up to their same ol’ dirty tricks regardless.

I’m hoping such a dramatic transition from the idiot Barney Franks to Ron Paul might be a bit of a shock to them and they’ll publically make a huge mistake. I guess we’ll see.

Oh great more taxes so as to audit the Fed. But then the money would otherwise be spent for some government project or another; might as well try to increase transparency in the bureaucracy (hey that rhymed).

I don’t think ‘transparency’ and ‘bureaucracy’ rhyme, but I agree with your point, haha.

This is just the subcommittee, mel watt is the chairman from the district of bank of america!

But I’m still very excited about it!

This should be fun to watch. I’ll bring popcorn.

It does in hip-hop. :stuck_out_tongue:

I highly doubt it’ll change a thing, but here’s hoping…

First, I will believe it when it actually happens.

But that said, Ron Paul has changed a lot of things just by making an effort. Even the failed drive to audit the FED has helped increase global awareness about central banking.

If one is looking for miracles or dramatic turns in history, he may not be capable of that, but like each of us, small efforts applied consistently can make big things happen.

I wonder if he will set up some Methodenstreit der Nationalökonomie hearings.
