Gary North has been writing a lot about Obama’s law license lately. Here are another two good points raised, one by him and the other by a lawyer who wrote to him.
I do not understand what is Gary’s point. Is it that Obama practiced law without a licence?
His point is that he believes that Obama was going to be disbarred for some reason, and that in order to avoid disbarment, Obama voluntarily retired from the profession. North points out that it is almost virtually unheard of for a lawyer to voluntarily retire unless he is trying to avoid being disbarred. Even lawyers that have retired from practicing still keep their law license up to date.
This is according to Gary North and some other lawyers he has conversed with. I do not know if this is true, but in other articles he points out that Nixon and Clinton kept their licenses until being threatened with disbarment. Unless Gary North is mistaken, and he seems to present his case quite well over the last few articles he has written, then Obama was threatened with disbarment and voluntarily retired to save face. North can only point to circumstantial evidence, but I think he is convincing.
Hmm… I guess I would have understood his point if I had not read his articles in reverse order.

I think that is what he believes. IIRC, he thought that the reason Obama’s names might not have matched up might have been due to trying to cheat with grades. He may have told the bar his name was Barry Soetoro.
