By far the most interesting thing to me about economics is the role of prices in organizing how recourses are allocated within an economy. Mind blowing realization that high prices can actually be a good thing during a crisis, bringing much-needed recourses where they are needed most.
Price-control theory has implications on minimum wage, crisis management, and rent-control. Every layman I have ever come across thinks these are are some of the most important functions of government - it must be understood that these are probably the most destructive functions of government. (Besides war.)

A conversation you and I had a while back where you recommended that I link to Mises Wiki pages for the sake of providing, not only a link to the resource page where the book is offered from mises.org for free (if applicable) but also supplementary sources and summaries of the work in question.
Oh interesting…I didn’t realize they all ended up at the wiki. I didn’t look closely at the URLs. I just noticed only one of them is a direct link…the others are google links. I thought they were links to google sales or books listings. I thought it was kind of weird that you would link one to the Mises Wiki and the rest to google pages, when all of those books are on the wiki.
To be honest, I paused in making that post somewhat expecting someone to point out that I copied and pasted the URLs from Google. After that, I continued just to see what would happen. John James …
