Such a noob

I’m a freshman right now in college, took macro econ last semester and came out of it learning nothing. Frankly I’ve learnt more watching milton friedman videos on youtube.

That basically lead to me finding out about the austrian school and I’ve been reading up on it ever since.

OK, my original intent was to inquire whether there are any books that introduce economics through an austrian perspective. or should I just stick to thomas sowell for introductory economics?

Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt is an excellent introductory text. Although it does not get into many technical details, and it never gets into praxeology, it gears your mind toward thinking more like an Austrian economist.

Gene Callahan, Economics for Real People.

Human Action

Seconded. Best introductory book about Austrian economics. Note that all the books mentioned are freely available in pdf format on this site.

Taylor’s An Introduction to Austrian Economics

I liked Man, Economy, and State. Look for it on the mises.org website.

wow, thanks for all the replies and the link.
