I’m always wondering why there are little articles or audio clips elaborating on ‘Human Action’ book itself. So far, I’ve only found ‘Lost Treasures in Human Action’ by Hoppe and ‘Fundamentals of Human Action’ by Gordon. Murphy’s study guide is really helpful and so is the audiobook, but Human Action is a book that gives you something new upon rereading it, as your knowledge on diverse fields like psychology, philosophy and history grow. With the profound insight contained in the book, no one can really grasp it after one reading, or probably even several rereadings. An elaboration of the ideas in each page could cover some long expository essays in themselves when you consider the broad sweep that Mises takes in some areas. There are lectures related to MES in the media section but as Murphy said, MES is focused on economics whereas HA goes into side tangents commenting on other fields.
A good project to take would be to post video lectures or animated powerpoints (ala FreedomainRadio) clarifying and/or expounding on the concepts in Human Action. This is merely intended to supplement the audiobook and study guide, not to compete with them.
So does anybody have any plans of doing that? (Or has something like that been already done?)
