I’d just like to know your overall impression of it, especially those who have listened to it as well as read the book.
When I first discovered the Mises Institute, I found the ‘quotable Mises’ to be impressive feature. I searched around the Mises Store, found Mises’ books and discovered peculiar praise for a man I only just heard about. The only names I knew in economics back then were Friedman, Keynes, Marx and Smith. Months passed by and I regularly devoured Mises dailies, although I knew deep inside that there was little chance I’d be able to read the magnum opus because of Picard’s Syndrome. When the audiobook finally came out, I was really surprised that it’s only 48 hours. Which is just magnificent, because this is probably the only way I’ll be able to overcome my laziness and finally read/listen to the book.
