I’ll be starting a job soon as a personal trainer. Personal training is a very marginal service for most people, so it seems that when people have to tighten their belts for the coming recession (aka correction) this won’t exactly be condusive to my job prospects. I’m a little worried to say the least.
It’s the “long capital” goods sectors that get hit hard in a recession. Raw services will be mostly unaffected, unless you have a lot of clients from those sectors. Starbucks barristas can rest easy, unless their Starbucks is on Wall Street.
