I’m not saying I necessarily agree with this, but I field the idea nonetheless.
London generates £18bn a year, much of which is dispersed nationally, yet houses some of the UK’s poorest areas- fair?.
Also, government is perhaps too London-centric, a capital in the north would rectify that and bring much needed fiancial attention to the North. We could hold a referendum on whether to exile the Royal Family to Windsor.
And there’s a clearly defined border- the M25.
Sinagapore, Hong Kong and Monaco manage it.
Could London?
still, the inhabitants have as much right to secede as any other people.
and they equally lack the right to erect involuntary coercive governmental structures of their own
The city of London has every right to secede from the British and EU governments. I honestly think London would survive quite well economically without the rest of Britain/EU.
