Having thoroughly trounced the agorists and their failed strategy and having demonstrated the inconsistency and arbitrary nature of the pro-abortion crowd, it is now time for the atheists to receive their much deserved knock on the head.
The existence of anything or the belief that something occurred is based on evidence. There is considerable evidence that there is a God. So based on this evidence it is reasonable that people would believe there is a God.
It is also possible to say that a person does not believe the current evidence is sufficient in their mind to substantiate the existence of God. This is a reasonable position, wrong but reasonable.
What makes the atheists irrational is that they say that there can be no evidence possible that would prove the existence of God since God can not possibly exist. The most one can say is that the current evidence is insufficient to say for sure. Like many things that are beyond our current knowledge base or indepth experience it is not really possible to rule out certain theories.
Finally, the atheist doctrine also is the least libertarian since by it’s nature it seeks conflict with the beliefs of others. Not to say that under the name of religion there hasn’t been plenty of conflict but in my experience the atheists are the least willing in the freedom movement to tolerate religious beliefs in others.
And not only is there no evidence for “god”, but there isn’t even a coherent, non self-contradictory, non fallacy-laden definition of “god” for you theists to use to show that there even might be something called “god”.
You’ve been trounced by theological noncognitivism. Try again.
LOL! Well, since you failed so utterly and embarrassingly with the first two, I look forward to yet another entertaining show. Have fun alienating yourself even further, o’ raper and defamer of Truth!
Atheists are also the ones that killed millions of people and destroyed the ability for others to have liberty in the name of the non- existence of God, sometimes in the name of liberty. Not to mention the use of atheism to control the population into excepting statism and arbitrary rule throughout history. They are the most hostile inside the liberty movement. They are in no way compatible with the liberty movement…ooh wait!
Maybe I am irrational and thats fine, because the human mind is capable and prone to it. And because of that, I will not believe in something that has been the primary excuse of enslavement throughout history, because no matter what you call it, power will use it. So spare me the attacks on the hostility of atheists inside the liberty movement. The divine right of(…)can be used for evil just as bad as the divine right of kings. Its my defense mechanism against enslavement.
Extrapolation of so called rationalism leads to people creating their own colony of “liberty”, where belief in God’s ethics overrules self ownership… ooh wait.
I had thought so, but honestly, I thought it was a serious suggestion via some quasi-logic concerning religion. I mean, I’ve seen pretty absurd arguments before so yea, lol…
Why are you so insistent on no abortion in the Liberty colony? It doesn’t really affect anyone, and it seems like a trivial matter that would only alienate some of your supporters.
No offense, but it’s kinda pointless bringing up all of your supposed victories on other discussions, none of which have anything to do with the one you apparently wish to discuss. And then you begin next by stating the obvious, and then making a baseless statement, which you do not back up. You make a second assertion (That God isn’t philosophically impossible) without backing (Not that I disagree, it’s just pointless to make assertions without any evidence).
Ok there a God… but which one? The Jewish one, the Christian one, the Muslim one? And what denomination is right about his teachings and reality: Sefardic or Ashkenazi rabbis, Catolic or Presbyterian theologists, Sunni or Shi’ite sufis? Also what if there’s more than a single God: what if the Hindus or the ancient Greeks were right and there’s a plethora of deities? What if Chinese popular religion, with its innumerable Gods, demigods, fake gods and would-be gods, were right?
No sense debating this here, let’s focus to the issues at hand.
Let me guess…You’re going to claim that since we can’t prove that your unnamed evidence doesn’t exist it follows that the existence of $Diety can’t be disproven and the rest of the thread is going to be you claiming you ‘won’ the argument and everyone else (rightly) claiming you’re an idiot.
It’s not like you started out with a strawman or anything…
