…Or at least the way they want to view it. Ya gotta love the Huffington Post. They’re nothing if not predicable. Check out their round up slideshow. They do everything they can to ignore Ron Paul and focus on any possible negative thing they can come up with on anyone associated with the Republican Party.
They can’t argue with him, so just like the Republicans they have to marginalize. You can even overlook the fact that he’s buried in the middle of the lineup…just look at the photo that they use. And the commentary is non-existent. “a very slow week in the world of the Ron Paul campaign”? Are you kidding me? And almost every single one of the other slides requires a “more” button because the content ran too long for the space on the page. Oh but not for Paul.
I don’t think they do this stuff on purpose. I think they’re actually not intelligent enough to understand what Ron Paul is saying. Economics is a difficult subject and requires basic logical reasoning skills.
Oh no, that looks like it very much was done on purpose. Take a look at the picture of him that they have. Could they have found anything darker or more ominous? That picture tries to make him look downright evil.
Actually I’m very surprised that they didn’t pile on Ron Paul in their typical snide fashion. It’s as Tom Wood said last week, it’s funny that much of the commentary is directed at, “one of the few non-drones in politics.” Some people get off on criticizing libertarianism (there are people on the Internet who make a hobby out of it) while ignoring the ocean of political stupidity that is much, much more influential in American and European politics.
The prospect of it becoming influential scares the bejeebus out of them. It’s desperate rearguard action to head it off at the pass.
