Two major problems:
- The inability to use more than one filter at the same time. I cannot go: Hans Hoppe + Video. I can only do one at the same time.
Combine that with:
- The generated results are only FIVE items per page. (seriously?)
This makes me conclude that the new media section (as it is now) is actually worse than it used to be.
The usability aspect seems completely overlooked, which it has in common with the new Mises community. Both I think are managed by Jeffrey Tucker and in both cases it appears that no input from the actual users was taken into consideration.
Something else I noticed: You can’t even view a list of all the videos in a category or in a subject any more. I assume this is a temporary snag, but even after all these changes, a week ago it was still possible to view everything in “Beginner’s Guide”, for instance. That functionality is now gone.
And this is just a small thing, but I noticed if you use the “mises.tv” url, the page is displayed in a frame from the server, so no matter where you navigate to after that (e.g. mises daily, literature…anywhere) the URL stays “mises.tv”.
Watch in like a week Lew Rockwell will send out emails saying he sold the LvMI to JPMorgan, that he was moving to Barbados, and that everything is gonna be priced for download. haha
