“Capitalism brings immense suffering to the world and needs to be overthrown”
Doubtful, considering we don’t have capitalism. Also, he blames wars on capitalism, which doesn’t make sense.
He didn’t bring up any points against capitalism.
His whole argument hinges on “the rich controlling society’s wealth” and the LTV.
Critique time!!!

All capitalism is, is the voluntary exchange of goods and services. Therefore, all action within a capitalist society is voluntary. Where does exploitation come into this my good sir? Indeed, the only exploitation possible is through the use of the state, which you advocate INCREASING TO ALL AREAS OF LIFE.
-
You advocate total democracy. How in god’s name do you know that the capitalists (in terms of your ideology) wouldn’t outnumber you? What if they did? You permit the use of violence and total relinquishing of property rights on top of your obvious worship of the greater collective… Does the term “and then they came for me” ring a bell? Because let’s just say that if any of your ilk ever suceed in any of their crazy schemes and then there was ever a somwhat sane majority in power again I would happily sign up for a certian kind of firing squad…

Have you ever heard of what the world was like before the late 1700’s and the vast expansion of the capitalist system? Capitalism can only be said to have caused suffering in proportion to the prosperity that capitalism has caused. Furthermore you are only alive by the capitalist division of labor. All of those nice plants and books in your room? All created by Capitalism…Logic fail.

Exactly what “higher goals” are you talking about?? I’d like to sit home all day and (if there was universal agreement about my ideology and I didn’t have to work and was left to my “higher goals” without having to work for anything) I’d probably never get off of my computer and game to death. People are good by and large, and there are a good few who are fairly enlightened, but they certinaly do not become so by never working and never having to make their own way in the world.

Capitalism is not inherintly unstable. Indeed how could a system of thousands of entrepreneurs who are working to make a profit and to progress thier own direct self interest by satisfying consumer demand be LESS stable than a huge single structure based off of the arbitrary commands of the central planner appointed by a coersive power not directly responsible for its own actions?
-
In your proposed end communist state exactly how is that you would ever stop people from actually attempting to go out and work for thier own self interest… Furthermore you stated that you despise individuals working for themselves, therefore an individual does not have the right to be happy by his own will and only by those of his fellow citizens, it is quite literally a popularity game in your book isn’t it? And how is it that the individual, which under this logic, is worth nothing, when combined with alot of nothing, create value?
-
As with your ilk, you assume that everything would be quite grand and peachy if everyone followed your ideology and that in such a system there would eventually be a universal consensus of people who agree with you and conform to your quite vast standards. You assume that you can give the mob full right to point thier guns at everyone and that they will all choose to end war and to protect the environment although they are inherintly exploiting others in order to do so.

In conclusion it is not the voluntary assosiation of non coersing individuals that you fear, it is the state, it is that entity which can declare war and destroy economies and communities. Therefore it is illogical that the state should be given total control of society with absolute impunity
I will never support exploitation and coersion. I will always fight you and all other statists, I just wish that you would follow your beliefs to their logical conclusion and join us.
