Vaccines, Mercury, and the Free Market

Are vaccines for childhood diseases supplied by one or a few manufacturers?

PREGNANT WOMEN ARE TOLD TO AVOID FISH DUE TO MERCURY. And this is ingested. They want to inject it directly into a child’s veins? Why is the industry soooo adamant in refusing to use a safer, or less controversial alternative? Why are there not competing manufacturers of vaccines that offer a no mercury option?

When I am told this is the ONLY option or screw you! I take full offense to this! We have alternative options for everything! Energy, Pesticides, Insulation…

Why can’t there be a mercury free vaccine? I would pay a premium if a company offered it. There obviously is a market for mercury free vaccines. So why is there no alternatives?

Are vaccines for childhood diseases supplied by one or a few manufacturers? I watched a small portion of the video reason put up today. I had this thought in my head for a while, but this video stirred it up again..

(Official disclaimer: I am not a doctor nor affiliated with any doctor. This is just some stuff I’ve encountered from personal experience…)

Find a doctor who practices alternative medicine…hard to find but they are out there. These are docs that have both AMA and non-AMA approved degrees and a much more comprehensive perspective of health and wellness. They use both AMA and non-AMA apprived techniques and practices. They would probably be considered ‘out of network’ from an insurance perspective.

Fish is probably not the worst offender when it comes to mercury toxicity. Amalgam fillings, annual vaccines and loclized environmental exposures contribute higher concentrated levels. In addition, everyone’s body eliminates mercury differently. Sometimes poor mercury elimination is related to type II food allergies or metabolic problems.

One of the big problems with mercury toxicity is that many AMA-sanctioned doctors and institutions do not even investigate this condition as a possible cause for other health-related conditions like chronic allergies, arthritis, thyroidisms, adrenal distress and failure, autiism/attention deficit, depression, etc…

There are very effective mercury and other heavy metal elimination techniques available that should be closely monitored.

There are so many chronic and persistent conditions that CAN be treated and cured but are not being addressed by the medical monopoly. Prescribing drugs and anti-depressants are a cop-out. We have lost the knowledge of how to cure things WITHOUT drugs and anti-depressants because the popular belief is that pandering to priviledge is more profitable. What is ignored by the medical monopoly is the alternative profit potential - because alternative knowledge is discouraged (…by scrambling for IP priviledge!)

I think that exposure to alternative health and wellness techniques is becoming more popular as a means to extend the quality of life. Ancient and eastern practices have knowledge to contribute. It is often ignored by the medical monopoly because much of it can be taught and practiced to and by families under the direction of the trained practitioner. These methods can be more efficient, less expensive and more successful. It removes the necessity of pandering to politics for priviledge by increasing and spreading knowledge and personal responsibility. It is the antithises of centrally-directed health care.

Find a doctor who practices alternative medicine

in other words: find a charlatan

Also from personal experience, I stand by everything that G8R HED posted above. My entire family deals with chronic illness, and my mother would not be alive today if it weren’t for doctors willing to practice alternative medicine. I owe my health to the wonders of Orthomolecular Medicine, which was pioneered by Linus Pauling in the 1960’s. The basic principle is that substances natural to the body - vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, etc. - can be used to bring the body back into balance. Each individual has a different body chemistry and genetic makeup, so each individual requires a different regimen of these substances, including specific doses.

Mainstream medicine is a big business that fails to promote individual health. Vaccines are a huge part of this business, so I think you have taken the right attitude: be skeptical and open to alternative sources of information.

Here are two natural health websites with good information on vaccines:

MaikU, you say that like mainstream medicine isn’t full of charlatans.

G8R,

What heavy metal elimination techniques are there? I heard of a few but am afraid to do them without a more authoriative assurance other than a forum post from the Alex Jones forum.

I just mentioned fish because it is advised Pregnant women not to consume it. While saying it is ok for the newborn to get it injected into it’s vains. I think the pro’s of eating fatty fish outweigh the cons.

Still curious as to why the lack of mercury free vaccines.

This isn’t G8R, but I’ll take a stab at your questions. I am not a medical authority, but I have been treated for chronic Lyme disease for the past six years and have worked with two great doctors: a Lyme specialist (MD) and an orthomolecular doctor (not an MD). Years ago I tested with slightly elevated aluminum levels, and was prescribed several different chelation (heavy metal elimination) techniques. My mother has had elevated mercury levels, and she has undergone similar treatments. Here’s what I have done:

  1. Chemet: a very powerful prescription drug. Taken orally in pill form. I took this once every three days for a period of months.

  2. Algas liquid metal detox extract (made by Nutramedix). This is a natural extract of a type of seaweed. I took 10 drops once every three days, along with the Chemet.

  3. King chlorella tablets (often comes in bottles of 600 small tablets - Nutricology is one company). Chlorella is a type of algae with many health benefits, including it’s detox ability. I currently take 3 small tablets twice a day on an empty stomach.

I don’t think the chemet/algas regimen helped me very much and I stopped taking those a few years ago. Right now, I am working primarily with the orthomolecular practitioner, and he is the one who prescribed 6 chlorella tablets daily. He described the chlorella as a “gentle,” slow-working type of detox compared to pharmaceutical options. He thinks that detox is best done this way so that it can be tolerated by the body.

I think it’s also important to note that heavy metal detox is a comprehensive process that involves more than taking a drug or natural “cure.” Drinking lots of water, vitamin/mineral supplementation, diet, exercise (sweating out toxins), and other factors are important.

My opinion on fish, again coming from my current doctor, is that most commercially farmed, dark, fatty fish (salmon, swordfish, etc.) are full of toxins and should be avoided. Wild fish are a better option as they are much less toxic. And white colored fish are also generally less toxic. I take omega-3 fish oil that is tested for heavy metals so it’s safe (I hope).

Finally, the mercury in vaccines issue is a scary one. And aluminum in vaccines may even be more harmful. See this interview: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/03/20/david-ayoub-interview-february-2010.aspx

I think mercury and aluminum are somehow supposed interact with the immune system to make the vaccine more effective. This is certainly pseudo-science, and these poisons are definitely not needed. So your question remains, why? Well, the most extreme answer is that it’s all a conspiracy to keep the human population dumbed down, or to gradually sterilize us to prevent overpopulation. A more plausible scenario is that it’s cheap and easy to use these additives, and since the vaccine market is monopolized there is no competition and incentive to change. Either way, the consumer loses big time.

Leo

Thanks. Just a heads up I read it. It’s great information! I find it odd that heavy metal detoxification isn’t more mainstream.

I’ve read about something called Lugol’s Iodine that is supposed to help too! But, I don’t want to just things. Like you, i’d rather work with a Doctor who has experience and successes with these types of approaches.

My main concern for myself is flouride. When I was a young young lad, I used to swallow it. Nothing bad happened when I did it, so I kept doing it. Luckily, it only lead to very minor flurosis with the teeth. haha, but now I am getting off-topic. I’ve been feeling very lethargic and my concentration is worth sh*t. I appreciate the information Leo! The extreme answer is what I am afraid of. Someone told me back in 2003, vaccines were mercury free. It was the first I heard of it. That doesn’t address the aluminum though.

I’m glad I could help!

Lugol’s Iodine looks like a great option. My doctor has me on 1 pill of Iodoral daily, which contains the exact same ingredients: iodine and potassium iodide. He says it’s great for killing all the bugs infecting me, as well as for detoxification. Unfortunately, the average American diet has very little iodine, so many people don’t realize they’re deficient in this essential nutrient. In contrast, people in Japan eat tons of seaweed, which is rich in iodine, and are on average healthier. Coincidence?

I know what it’s like to feel constantly tired and have terrible concentration - my family likes to call it “brain fog.” In fact, I’m having it right now, too! My family has been lucky to find great doctors, but it has been a struggle as I’m sure you know. I wish you all the best in your quest for health.

Mornin’ Wibee,

There is intravienous chelation and also a supplement called Captomer.

Both should be done under direction by your doctor. Pre-tests are necessary to determine the level of toxicity in the body and then to asses the body’s ability to eliminate.

I agree on the vaccinations. There ought to be alternatives available and I am not aware of any - especially for the typical and ‘required’ childhood types.

As far as your physical and mental lethargy are concerned - that sounds more like a type II food allergy, thyroidism or adrenal fatigue rather than a heavy-metal toxicity - although it could be a combination.

Have you been tested for food allergies, thyroid or adrenal function? If not, that would be the place to start. The approach must be professional and systematic or more harm will be done than good. Self-treatment is not a good option.

MaikU - A year and a half ago I would probably have agreed with you.
