OMG GET THE EFFIN RPG ELEMENTS OUT OF MY FPS, KK? X_X

United Offensive was really good too. Also, sell the PS3 and buy a 360.

That is what I told him, but he has a bizarre value scale.

I do have a 360, but I hardly use it anymore and your value scale is objectively wrong and irrational. The aesthetics of the PS3 are better than those of the 360 and the PC, which means…

Again if 360 had uncharted and infamous..the PS3 would be toast…warm buttery toast.

Sebastian del Rey!

I got a decent laptop and a PS3, so all the “exclusives” the XBOX 360 gets just comes to PC too (plus who would want to play Half Life 2 on Xbox when you can on PC controls?). Best of both worlds. Uncharted is a lot of fun, but I bought a ps3 mostly for MGS4, the more appeal to Japanese developers, and companies like Naughty Dog and Insomniac who tend to develop more for the Playstation. Plus I still own a crapload of PS1 and PS2 games that I still play.

Personally, I hate the fanboy culture. They are hardware, and software. It’s just video games. They have different appeal and different games.

Also random: Any Linux users here? I used to run Ubuntu, or Sabayon on my desktop. I sometimes run Ubuntu on my laptop, and there is a linux os default in the bios of it.

I also have Yellowdog Linux running with XFCE on my PS3 [:P]

I think it’s time for an intervention.

The two things helping the PS3 is free online gaming and past Playstation success. What Sony has not learned is that price rules. This is the main reason why the Wii was killing both of them in sales and the 360 has been more successful than the PS3. The absolute only reason I bought a 360 was because of the price. The Xbox 360 arcade at $200 is a fantastic buy and has taken away the Wii’s price advantage. I am well aware of the title library differences and graphic capabilities between the Wii and the 360/PS3 but parents didn’t care. The differences between the 360 and PS3 are much more nuanced. The PS3 is in a much better position now with their $300 slim version which comes with built in Wi-Fi, something Microsoft charges you $100 for using their adapter. IMO Sony’s biggest mistake was including Blu-ray support in the PS3 which added god knows how much to the console’s cost.

Blu-ray is one of the reasons why I bought the PS3.

Before or after the HD war was settled? So you wanted to play Blu-ray movies on your PS3 or do you believe PS3 games will benefit from the extra disc space?

I refused to buy one before the dust settled and wanted to wait until they came down to a realistic price, they are now under $100.

After the HD war settled. I had a 360 with HD DVD player before the HD war settled, however.

Anyone else incredibly amused by the new overly pretentious Playstation commercials? “It only does EVERYTHING”

Please console people go away. Stop embarrassing yourself. Nobody that calls himself a gamer plays your silly lowest common denominator games.

Hardcore 200 clicks a minute PC game or die.

The sycophants of the Microsoft exploiting pigs are trying to pull the wool over our eyes with their bourgeoisie logic. They will never be able to debunk the Sony Theory of Value. Right on comrade!

lololol

Speaking of PC games, I have to say FPS play better on the PC thanks to the mouse and keyboard but you can’t get a $200 gaming PC. Personally I stopped playing consoles outside of sports games until online gaming took off. Overall I still prefer my PC.

Simple, next time you need to buy a new computer, spend a couple extra bucks. Good computers for gaming are getting really cheap now.

I build my own but it is not as simple as you think, depending on the game’s requirements, a good reliable gaming PC can still cost you and certainly more than $200.
