Imagine what would have happened in Europe or the US if somebody had the audacity of resisting the uniformed thugs sent to raid his/her property. The press would be screaming and wailing at the temerarity of the gesture and while probably many would privately consider him/her a hero, they would keep it to themselves and our TV/computer screens would be filled with brainwashed cretins saying “It’s horrible!”.
