That’s what I’ve been wondering. I was guessing that Hitler was a proponent of fractional reserve banking, but I could be wrong about that. What exactly was his banking system like if it wasn’t the same as Lincoln’s? I’m kind of confused because he said he was against “finance captialism”, but at the same time, he promoted it by borrowing for some of his military spending. Or were the loans to the Nazi State interest free?
Hitler was no hard money 100% reservist, right?
Also, do Dennis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders oppose hard money and FRB? If they do, then do they support the system Lincoln had, which was just as corporatist as the Fed (even though they’re anti-corporatist, they may fall for the myth that Lincoln was a man of the people and that his national banking acts were democratic socialism)? Or do they support Ellen Brown’s proposal for zero reserve and fiat currency that people borrow interest free and then return when they’re done with it?
Finally, I’m a little confused about what Dr. Paul supports. Does he support a 100% reserve mandate and gold and silver as legal tender, or does he support fractional reserve banking and no legal tender, or something else?
