Precisely, and this is an act of discrimination, which the admonition “Support The Troops” is designed to short-circuit.
“Support The Troops” suggests that there is no difference between soldiers that willingly murder and soldiers that object and resist;
it suggests that there is no difference between invading soldiers and defending soldiers.
All are, somehow, “equally deserving” of our “support.”
