Misguided statist mouthpiece fighting for freedom while hypocritically asking for government to help?
worthy cause entangled with statist?
I’d just like to hear your thoughts because it’s a well known organisation and I have supported them in the past and now I want to re-evaluate if libertarians should support them.Plus there hasn’t been much libertarian discussion of them.
They’re good on everything except gun rights. They want the government to take guns away from defenseless people and hand them to the State instead.
I think they can burn in hell.

After a longer look at there website ,I agree with “burn in hell”.
I can’t believe I once supported them(when I was 15 and vaguely left liberal).
It’s just they had such a lovey dovey image in the mainstream as though they’re the greatest champions of rights.
They favour free speech and negative rights like freedom from being aggressed against in war and yet in contradiction to these rights ,believe in phony ‘rights’ like ‘right to be free from discrimination’, ‘right to free education’ and ’ right to healthcare’ etc.
They are also statist as might be expected and Pro - UN and like to quote the UN ‘declaration of human rights’.
