If a thread has 4 followers, does it mean 4 people are looking at it at that moment?

Every reply to your post gets you 15 points. A high points count denotes a poster who engages in numerous flame wars.

That’s not necessarily true. People who ask a lot of questions also have high post counts, and, especially, high post to points ratios.
