If a thread has 4 followers, does it mean 4 people are looking at it at that moment?

4 people have added it as a favorite?

4 people want emails sent to them when a new post is posted?

For that matter, does anyone know how “Post Points” are calculated, or what they mean?

Every reply to your post gets you 15 points. A high points count denotes a poster who engages in numerous flame wars.

Every reply to your post gets you 15 points. A high points count denotes a poster who engages in numerous flame wars. That’s not necessarily true. People who ask a lot of questions also have high post counts, and, especially, high post to points ratios.

There are threads on all these questions under the “About” category.
