He might be. There is a definite possibility. However, at this point, Ted Cruz hasn’t been disappointing. Cruz voted against Kerry while Paul voted for Kerry. That disgusts me.

Rand is phase two of the operation. Ron’s role was to educate as preparation for future electoral sucess, while Rand’s role is to actually get that electoral success. I’d say it’s working pretty well. Rand is making enormous progess in winning over mainstream conservatives, while pissing off only a relatively small fraction of his Paulite base.
