Unfortunately, I have developed a severe allergic sensitivity to alcoholic beverages and can no longer enjoy them. 
Patiently working to remedy that situation. Guess I’ll have a wedge of lime in my water…for now.
^^ If you’re allergic to all alcohol, try turmeric before/during your drinking. If you’re allergic to congeners, stick to vodka.

I had some limited success with potato vodka (Monopolowa) about a year ago but since than all alchohol has been off limits. Struggling with causes as far as the physical reaction goes - allergy or yeast overgrowth.

Bert, I assure you it’s not. For some reason everyone in my frat pregames with Four Lokos. It’s kind of ridiculous.
Pregaming with Four Loko really is funny. People I know usually do it with vodka. I never really got the concept with stuff like Sparks and Four Loko besides it’s cheap and taste like candy, I guess that’s the appeal to some younger people. I always see underage kids drinking it.

Its also way harder than normal beer and has energy drinks in it. And how do you not ‘get it’? Doesn’t taste like rotten wheat, gets you drunker, costs less and keeps you from falling asleep. What is there not to get? It’s not like alcohol is actually good.

I seldom drink beer (I won’t go out my way to actually buy it), mainly cider and wine which I find delicious (anything from Manischewitz to Night Train). Also, you can get a bottle of wine that can taste amazing with at least 9.5% alcohol, or some rum, which can get you more drunk than some energetic alcohol drink.
As for falling asleep, my girlfriend raised a point along the lines of, “Why do you want to be both wired and wasted when everyone else around you is passed out drunk?”.
this weekend it was red oval from traders joes. not bad for the price.
