I am considering going back to school for a doctorate in Economics. I would like to go to a school where I get a good dose of the Austrian viewpoint while still learning mainstream ideas. Any suggestions?
GMU and NYU explicitly allow for a concentration in Austrian economics in their PHD descriptions. The course involves general economic courses as well, at an advanced level. They’re both top schools. You’ll need to make sure you can meet their quantitative and other requirements though, as they’re demanding, especially the latter of the two. It’s worth checking this out as well.
