Hayek, in the introduction to Carl Menger’s Principles of Economics, says of Austrian capital theory that it finds “its clearest systematic expression” in Friedrich von Wieser’s The Theory of Social Economy (1914).
Anyone have any links or other info on Weiser’s presentation of capital theory?
EDIT: For sake of clarity: I’m not so sure, upon further review, that Hayek’s above words are in reference to Austrian capital theory per se. Instead he is here referring to what he calls Wieser’s exposition of the Austrian conception of “the technical structure of production”. In retrospect, it seems more reasonable to suppose a difference than an equality between the two.
