I used to love to travel, but stopped around 2007 because I hate taking off my shoes and the whole experience in general. It is so F*#@ing degrading!
So, my question is what do you think will happen with airport screening in the next year, two years, five years or more? Are we doomed to this BS forever? Will we go back to the way flying used to be before 2001? Or will it be even better and more convenient than ever? Thank you.

Yes, it fell, after 12 years. But Russia lasted 70 years. And we are more like Russia. In the following ways:
Leaders are arrogant and foolish, but not maniacs.
We love fighting weaker nations, but won’t take on the strong ones.
Like Russia, we have a whole continent to ruin. Germany only had a country.
Our population is big, like Russia’s, not medium sized like Germany.
Our leaders don’t get blind adulation by everyone, only by some. So they don’t hesitate to do something stupid, but will beware of doing something unpopular.
We have the resources potentially to be self sufficient, like Russia and unlike Germany. So there is plenty to ruin before people get upset.
What all these points say is that we won’t chop off our own heads with an axe, like Germany did, but instead will bleed ourselves slowly to death, like Russia.
If you really hate the way airports are run, then the word of freedom needs to get out more.
Travel is already getting worse by the day. A law was just changed to make the penalty more severe if you cross a barrier to kiss your girlfriend good-bye. Full body scanners are still optional.
