I think the smart money’s on 90% of the Republican vote in the primaries being split between a Perry-Gingrich and Paul-Napolitano ticket. To say Perry is a political animal wouldn’t do his governorship justice, and whatever one may think of his politics, he’s Reagan next to the current crop of clowns that is the Republican lineup. Gingrich might be a spent force in a prominent role, but there’s no reason he couldn’t be Perry’s Joe Biden.
I doubt Jeb’s going to run. The Bush name has been a one time loser and another time punching-bag. It’d be like one of Nixon’s kids running in the 90’s. Not gonna happen.
