I’m of the opinion that the republican party has lost so much credibility that it will never win an election again unless it does a complete 180 in its policies and rhetoric.

What do you think? Do you think the repukes could conceivably win the next election, if Obama fails miserably? Maybe after Obama puts in his eight years? Do you think they will wise up and adopt a pro-freedom platform? Or will the Repugnant Party disappear? Could the LP or other minority party conceivably snatch the small-government, anti-Obama vote and displace the RP?

I’m pretty sure the Republicans still think that they can wipe Liberalism off the face of the earth.

I don’t think either are going anywhere soon.

If Ron Paul announces his candidacy (he’s in the top 2 or 3 picks in polls right now) I think he would have a good chance of winning the nomination, in which case I think he could most likely restore “credibility” to the message of the republican party. I doubt they’ll last if they nominate a neocon though.
