Worst political ad: Creepy Herman Cain smoking/grin

Worst political ad ever:

I didn’t laugh until the end, when I saw the guy smoking with the zoom and Cain’s ridiculous smirk :stuck_out_tongue:

To be fair, that creepy smile is the default bookend for all their ads. (I guess this shows how many Herman Cain ads everyone has seen).

How about another:

I call plagiarism (speakers on for full experience):

Check out Lee Doren above.

Yeah, that’s from where I got the idea for posting the full thing.

It looks like Doren was right (I’m afraid)…

CNN: Cain ad smokin’ hot

Via RonPaul2012:

Many folks are befuddled by some of the downright bizarre ads Herman Cain’s camp has been producing, including one in which Mr. Cain’s campaign manager Mark Block is touting his candidate as he smokes a cigarette on camera (for the record, Ron Paul 2012 campaign manager Jesse Benton also supports his candidate, as has virtually every other campaign manager in the history of campaigning). The many similar reactions to this very odd commercial come from many different quarters including spoofs from Stephen Colbert and The Daily Caller, but perhaps The Washington Post’s Nia-Malika Henderson asked all the pertinent questions when she wrote:

“A few questions come to mind…. 1. Why is Mark Block, Cain’s campaign manager, smoking a cigarette? 2. Why is Mark Block blowing cigarette smoke into the camera? 3. Why is Mark Block on camera? 4. Who is holding the camera? 5. Why did anyone think this was a good idea? 6. Why is Herman Cain smiling? 7. Are we being punked?” [continued…]

I bet putting his pants down and mooning the camera or getting out of a sports car wearing a scotish kilt with no underwear would become exponentially more viral than that – if that’s what they are shooting for.

Pathetic. He’s toast.

I can’t be the only who sees the resemblance between grin-shot and this:
