Wow, this is embarrassing. I’m guessing he’s never actually read anything about anarchism, or political philosophy, or economics?

His fallacy is associating anarchy, the absence of rulers, with the absence of leaders. Leaders and administrators are compatible with anarchy.

I read to the word used by non-economists: Hoarding. I say this because people without force applied to them will trade stuff they have for stuff they want. Hoarding is the product of government force. If I hoard food, it is not because the economy can not make more of it, it is because the government has stepped into legitimate transactions and forced one party to supply the good when the property owner could get a higher price for it without the force.
Also, the world is not running out of space or food. There is plenty of both. I am amazed that people in the US would feel that these things are as limited as they are. I should not be as most of the educational bureaucracy teaches that the US is running out of landfill space.

It seems like he hasn’t even thought about the possibility that people trade with each other. In his example of there being food shortages he says

Has it not occured to him that the Farmer could hire someone to protect his farm in exchange for food?
