Dr. Paul, from now on, don’t ever raise your hand to get the moderator’s attention, and don’t waste time trying to verbally get his attention either, just start talking into your microphone at the candidate or whoever. Speak yourself into the conversation. If Newt says something you know to be false, don’t look to the moderator, just speak into the microphone like you own the place and start explaining why he’s wrong. If someone talks over you, just continue talking until you’re finished. Mitt does this and it works EXTREMELY WELLl for him. If possible, have someone run you a stool to your podium. Tell the moderator that if you’re gonna be excluded, you might as well be comfortable (I’m joking a little here, but you should do it).
If they say, would you support Newt, say NO. If they ask why, say he’s a big government guy. You’re supporters aren’t going to support him anyway. Once you’re a Ron Paul supporter, you’re not going back to anything less.
I used to think you should throw out all the awesome facts about yourself. For example, how more military supports you than all other candidates combined. Now, I would say please stop doing that in the debates. You sound THOUSANDS of times better we you just are yourself and talk about the issues and facts and history. You’re so knowledgable, just be yourself and speak about the issues and pretend you’re talking to Lew on one of his podcasts and explaining to him and his listeners about history or whatever you like to talk about and you always sound fantastic and so much more scholarly than the other guys.
There were times when the moderator literally said, we’ll be back and let the other guys get a chance and then he actually said, “30 seconds on this next question for each candidate, we’ll go down the line, we’ll start with Romney”. He lied. He never made it to Rick or Ron Paul. So, if you hear something and someone is incorrect, just speak into the microphone and put yourself int he conversation. Don’t even bother looking or acknowledging the host.
Keep up the brilliant work Dr. Paul! You have bigger balls than I’ll ever have!
