War is Peace.

We’ve finally reached that Orwellian milestone. Newspeak was already here - probably started with the seizure of the term “liberal” to mean something it never was nor meant to be.

In his acceptance speech for the Nobel Peace Prize, U.S. President Barrack Obama declared the justification of war beyond just self defense. I care very little about handing a meaningless award to a man who deserves very little in the way of recognition, but the act itself has subverted the very concepts of peace and war to the words we use for them.

Do we have a complete list of 1984 Newspeak phrases? Is there one we haven’t hit yet?

Should be one on the internet. My copy of 1984 had a dictionary of it in the back.
