I read this headline:

Obama scraps Bush’s European missile defense plan

Of course I thought for a moment that it could be true, Obama is going to get rid of the US interference in the relations of our friends with the country of Iran. But my hope was dashed as the change was nothing but a “Cheaper”, yeah right, version of the original system. And the worst part is that Obama is keeping this system alive to deflect criticism from the right.

Obama also campaigned as the peacemaker, and it has now been decided, somehow, that he will chair the U.N. Security Council. That is a huge leap. I guess he will have an office there now? I wonder how long the White House will, well, house the President before it may become a permanent museum. This stirs up all kinds of guesswork with me.
