Not really a huge celeb or anything, but I was mildly pleased last night when longtime UFC veteran Chris “Lights Out” Lytle used the opportunity after his submission victory over Matt Brown to give a shout out to Peter Schiff, urging the people of Connecticut to “do the right thing” and vote for him, live on one of the biggest PPV events of the year.
I´ve noticed a heavy libertarian slant to the MMA fan community, above and beyond what could be considered the norm I suspect.
Good to know that extends to the fighters as well. Kinda balances out all the annoying Army and Marines advertisments between the fights.
