Anyone here watch MMA?

And more specificaly, the Fedor vs Rogers fight? Fedor proving once again he is the best P4P fighter in this sport!

No one? [:P]

I love MMA! It’s like the market process, for who doesnt understand it, it can look raw and brute, but those who understands know it’s full of nuances. Im a big Machida fan, although he was lackluster in his last fight. And a Fedor fan also, he is unbelievably resilent.

You think Machida took the win when he fought Shogun? I’m a little skeptical myself. Would really like to see a rematch and a much more exciting fight.

My favourite fighters are GSP, Anderson Silva, and Fedor. I agree that Fedor is the best P4P, but he has so many close calls. I think he’s been very lucky that he hasn’t lost a fight yet. His nose didn’t look to good in the last one.

Machida took the first 3 rounds and Shogun the last 2 IMO. Machida was much more effective when trading punches, but it seemed like he didnt note that, and he couldnt adapt to that stupid low kick of Shogun, also Shogun is never easy. I want a rematch too, the funny thing is that Lyoto is the blacksheep of the family being so cautious, his father Yoshizo and brother Chinzo are very agressive.

Love MMA. Who would have thought I’d be talking MMA on Mises.org.

Shogun won that fight. That was one of the most ridiculous calls I’ve ever seen.

Fedor is definitely one of the best P4P. I’m not sure I could put him over Silva yet though. Silva could easily dominated the 205lb division, which I think he will end up doing once Machida loses the belt.

Also, I’d love to see Brett Rodgers and Lesnar, just because they are both so big. Fedor and Lesnar would be awesome too. I’m still not sure Lesnar can handle a hard hitter. I was looking forward to him fight Carwin, but that fell through.

Training the way he does and having a record that good against that number of quality fighters isn’t what I would call luck.

He even says, himself, that he can lose. He’s not invincible. He has had many fights that have been close calls. He has been very lucky that not one of those has turned into a loss. And yes, he trains very hard and is very good.

Fedor = God
