I don’t know that a plow would help. Best to just strap an M80 to it and light the fuse. As a book, in my opinion, it’s best use is out house wallpaper.

I’m happy they’re releasing it in multiple parts. That’s much better than trying to squeeze it all into one film.

After all these years, Leonard Peikoff finally offers us a movie version of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. If it is to be judged by the trailer, and all too often movies can be, it is a bomb. And I don’t mean Da Bomb. What a shame.

Is it bad if I think it looks atrocious?
I was thinking it may find some diamond-in-the-rought directors or actors and would actually be of good quality in an indie film sense, but it looks like the total opposite of that happened.
I don’t know, the movie is not what I expected.
I personally love Rand, not an objectivist. Yet I find this users work amazing, even if I don’t agree with much of it.

I don’t see how ignoramus actors abandoning a project could be bad. They probably bailed when they found out it was pro-cap.

Quality actors such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie acting in this movie would have given this movie credibility and made it much more appealing to everyone who hasn’t heard of it.

This is true but are the actors in it now any good? I don’t know what’s good acting, I just know really bad acting.
I would have liked the trailer… except for Dagny. She’s not the Randian ideal type, and she’s neither confident enough nor bitchy enough.
The trailer was very conventional and over intensifying. Nothing unique or inspiring about it in my opinion.
