But anyways, I don’t think dividing people into tax consumers and taxpayers is the way to go. I just see too many potential problems with this type of class analysis. For starters, one can be a net tax consumer due to minimum wage laws. These people are “exploited” just as much as any taxpayer, and it is unfair to call them parasites. In many cases there are businesses which would not exist without government intervention in the economy. Are employees of these businesses net tax consumers or net taxpayers? I have many more objections that I don’t feel like listing…
But I do think there is a divide between the exploiters and the exploited. I just don’t think net tax consumer vs. net taxpayer is the best idea.

Come on. Bernanke is a poor victim of the system. Or maybe not because there are no such things as good and evil, force and fraud and morality.
Well either Bernanke is innocent as a lamb, or morality is irrelevant.
False dilemma, even though I agree Bernanke is not innocent.
