I used this article, where John and Martha King were detained by police, in a workplace argument with some coworkers. One of the techies here is a big believer in Big Government. He insists that the government will be able to build and maintain a network where everyone’s medical records will be available by any physician, and that network will make healthcare in general more efficient.
I forwarded him the link to the story I linked above. If the government can’t keep people up to date with the registration status of an airplane, how will they be able to keep our health records up to date?
I know he read the email, but I received no reply.
