I’ve tried…and came up with nothing.
Someone mentioned Polysorbate 20, but there seems to be no evidence to back that up.
This quest started because I saw a sticker on some california baby tear free shampoo that said “no numbing agents”…

I tried using cal ben shampoo with my kids…but they get scared its going to burn their eyes…

I have not used shampoo or conditioner in at least a month, and my hair feels fine. It doesn’t get near as oily as it did when I dried it out with shampoo (and tried to even it out with conditioner). From my personal results I don’t think I’ll use that stuff again (unless something happened to where I had to use shampoo to clean my hair).
I have heard and read about the nopoodo…where you don’t use shampoo…
I understand some of their points…like, most shampoos strip the oils from your hair…so, it doesn’t make sense to use them…
however, Cal Ben shampoo, I don’t think strips your hair of its oils…
also, kids get dirty,…they play at the park or wherever…and they smell…and their hair smells…
they need to be cleaned…something more than running water over their head…

Lol, I don’t care if shampoo strips some nutrients from my hair, my hair would smell terrible if I didn’t wash it with some kinda soap.
I don’t have little kids, but I play like one.
