What do you want? its in english.based on research data, polling, hiring trends, employment and unemployment statistics, group studies, books, web post editorials and books what kind of degree is more likly to lead to success? A liberal arts degree (general wide ranging perhaps what could be considered classic) degree or a specific (i.e.| law, math, engineering, accounting, business, )degree?

Answer: It depends on the situation. There are so many variables specific to the individual that making a blanket statements like this impossible to back up.
TBH, it entirely depends on the individual and what their goal is. If you want statistics, use google, not a web forum. But again, statistics really don’t tell you anything of meaning for an individual basis.
