By the way maybe the anarcho - ministry of intelligence is going to test the intelligence of the voluntary subjects of the free society in order to know who belongs to the ‘natural’ elite ? The anarcho ministry of health will do the same thing, for, well, health ? The ministry of labor will classify people as to belonging or not to the natural elite of naturally skilled people ? And etc ?
If you and I both start a grocery store and within 3 years, I have expanded, and you have gone out of business, then, all other things equal, I am naturally superior to you in this regard. Now just extrapolate to get a more general view of the concept.
I would think its obvious that I call it ‘natural’ because there is no artificial edifice (such as the state) involved in promoting me over you, or vice versa.
Well the condition “all other things equal” is impossible to meet, but even if you were ‘superior’ to me at running a grocery store so what ? Are you the queen of the tomatoes or something ?
As far as I can tell, nobody says that successful business owners are members of any natural elite. Just like nobody says that good engineers are members of the elite of engineers or that good musicians are members of the natural elite of musicians, etc.
Maybe you haven’t noticed it, but people are not born engineers, musicians, or grocery store owners.
Its called a hypothetical situation. Unlikely to happen in real life, but still useful in order to illustrate a concept.
Actually, I answered you already. It would prove that I am naturally superior to you in that regard. That’s all I’m trying to prove. That some people are just naturally better at things than others; that it is good and healthy to have natural elites. That stigmatizing or inhibiting the work of natural elites is counter-productive.
Police and armies as we know them are terrible ideas in the first place. Having men march around with “shoot me” signs (uniforms) is particularly stupid. Market warfare is guerilla warfare.
