Organic food in the way it is being used in this documentary (and mine) and by the environmentalist movement in general. It is bullshit that it is superior to “non-organic” food, safer ect…

Unfortunately, Giles, the smallest part of the organic food crowd seem to be hippies. It’s mostly white upper middle class liberals who buy this to relieve their conscience for being rich, just as they seem to support affirmative action to relieve their conscience for not wanting to live near any minorities.

I, for myself, am quite fond of organic living. Made all of our ancestors die young and sexy, didn’t it? Quite the rock star life.

I would guess he means the right of an entrepeneur to produce and offer his product on the market and see if there is profit in it or if he will need to take his lumps as losses hit. i.e. that there should not be a law in place prohibiting food that government people decide the population at large dont want or shouldnt want.

The right of the food producers to produce what they want and how they want. The people in the trailer want to give the FDA greater power over the food industry. That capacity.

You should be more concerned about the industry trying to censor debate on food production through agriculture defamation laws. You should be more concerned about the industry trying to control the food supply through patented crops and IP laws. You should be more concerned about organic farms being contaminated with GMO pollen. You should be more concerned about terminating seeds imposing artificial scarcity on food.

I’ll think about when people are starving to death because they can’t have a farm, nor raise chickens, nor raise rabbits in their backyard (in suburban areas) because the government won’t let them. By producers I meant all producers, not simply the Monsato’s of the world. You mean I should be worried about the ills of the State? I haz done it.

What are you doing here? Why arn’t you in front of the White House protesting the Monsato’s of the world? Arn’t you concerned?
