That’s great, your feelings are subjective. I don’t want to be insulting, but I don’t believe you know what you’re talking about. Since in fact - you’ve offered nothing new to this conversation, that I haven’t already heard.
So, you just prefer to believe we banned KoB for some other, arbitrary reason, rather than as a result of his attitude? If that’s the case, I’m not sure we can offer you any new information, because then we’d just be fabricating it. There is nothing more to KoB’s ban than what we’ve already said.
= Red herring. Regardless, all I see is dodging in that thread, a user continuing to post and ignoring another’s responses. So? Maybe the forums need an ignore feature, which is something that was suggested ages ago.
I’m not trying to divert attention. That thread was a major reason why KoB was banned. At some point late last year there was a shift in the way the moderators believed the forums should be run. We were interested in promoting civil discussion. KoB was unwilling to accept this shift, and he quickly lost his moderatorship. He seemed to take that personally. That thread with LS was the culmination of a long history of poor attitude and an argumentative tactic which all too often included insults.
But, if you want to believe that there was something more to his banning then I’m not sure we can persuade you otherwise.
He did? Prove it. All I saw was steadfastness in his convinctions in the face of fallacies. Anyway - there haven’t been other members who’ve belitteled others? There is a whole damn thread dedicated to that atm… what a weak attempt at a justification.
What thread is dedicated to that? It’s not a weak attempt at justification, it is my justification. Here are some examples,
- These two posts. Especially, “Don’t be all butthurt because your childish beliefs don’t deserve respect.”
- Here. “Oh not this bullshit again.”
- Here. “Actually, it’s just an objection to style. In the future, I’d suggest you not lie your ass off in order to cover for your idiotic and impossible-to-actually-justify “economics” stance”
Knights of Bawaa was not banned because of what he thought, or what he believed in, but because of the way he preached his ideas. “Steadfastness in convictions” is great, but it doesn’t justify belittling others by accusing them of being butthurt, or being a hypocrit, or having idiotic economic stances.
