Modern rap is just absolutely horrible today. I like the ones who still work with the motif of old school like MF Doom.
Andrew, there has been a resurgence of rap that actually has meaning. I posted links to some Kid Cudi songs but rappers like Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco (who will probably be dubbed the hottest MC by the mainstream once his album, Lasers, drops later this year), Charles Hamilton, B.o.B, Mos Def, and others.
Please, “Late Registration” and “Graduation” were two absolutely fantastic rap albums.
Doom is such a wack MC. Same with Kanye.

I haven’t seen it. I usually stick to 90’s stuff. Right before it started turning into a joke about shooting people and committing crimes.

Andrew how do you find that horrible yet you can stand Doom’s wack flow and boring voice? Unless you’re all about production (though there are far better than doom still producing today) I don’t see why.
