I had heard previously in a few places that Dr. Hoppe would be writing a massive interdisciplinary book on the history of humanity. The idea was (if i am not mistaken) that he would take his History of Civilization lectures and use those as the base to create a very large book length expanded treatment.
Does anyone know if this is still going to occur or is still ongoing? I am itching to read it if it is true, but it would certainly make things easier on my tender psyche if I atleast knew if it was actually going to occur. The possible suspense is killing me.
Well, it’s based on his “Economy, Society, and History” lecture series. At Mises U he said it was coming along slowly, so I imagine it’ll be out in a couple of years.
Oh, wow. I’ve often wondered, after listening to that series, why Hoppe hasn’t written a book along those lines. Sounds like he’s working on a Magnum Opus. I can’t wait.
