Obama to expand the role of the National Security Council

From the AP this morning:

Obama to Revamp National Security Council

“sections of the government not traditionally part of the council would be brought in on a case-by-case basis – he named the Energy Department, Commerce Department and Treasury, and all the law enforcement agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration.”

The President will issue the order via directive.

I don’t like anything about it. Including the fact that the council is lead by a retired Marine Corps general.

In order to maintain government expansion, every department must become a security issue, and must be brought under the war time government.

Fronts include

The War on the Budget. The War on Energy. The War on the Congress. The War on Business. The War on Spending. The War on Saving. The War on War. And my personal favorite, The War on the American People.

It’s only a matter of time until Obama starts making speeches in combat fatigues.

Hooray for bigger expensive non-productive government that we cannot afford.

Fingers crossed that people will realize the Obama 4-year presidency didn’t work out the way they thought it would - the economy being worst in 2012 than in 2009.

Maybe they will gain the ability to think critically. I doubt it.
