…and signed my name, birth place, and date-of-signing in their guest book. Somehow I feel more a part of our movement having committed my name to the record book of our mecca. I feel somehow legitimized, like I lost my pilgrimage virginity or something.
But anyway, I bought Mises’ Socialism as a token of my trip there (I was visiting family for Thanksgiving and just happened to be passing through Auburn, so I can’t say that I trecked to the south just to see it), in addition to David Gordon’s Philosophical Origins of Austrian Economics and 5 back issues of the QJAE and 5 more of the JLS ($10 for 5 issues of either…in-house deal only!). Oh, and I bought the updated wristband. The old one’s going in a box.
All in all, a good day.
