Grand Theft Iowa
The GOP has always been a big pro-inflation hawk… I can imagine Ben Bernanke running a special issue of Iowa GOP primary vote tickets and “helicopter-dropping” them into Iowa.
This is the big unspoken secret of the Ron Paul campaign, however: Ron Paul doesn’t need to win the Republican primary, he just needs to stay in what the media keeps calling “the Top Tier” so he doesn’t “disappear” from the media any further than they’ve already managed to disappear him. If he does a respectable showing in the Republican primary, that proves he is viable for an independent run where we know he would pick up tons of independent, blue-Democrat and first-time voters. Ron Paul is the only person in this campaign who has a chance of beating Barack Obama in the general election.

I’m more then happy to see that other libertarians know this vote was rigged.
Note also that turnout was “surprisingly low” according to the local pollster on KCCI. Perhaps some “Ron Paul” votes just magically didn’t get counted?

That’s what I’m guessing too: a stream of uncounted votes deliberately thrown on the floor.
Ah, but guys! According to people over at Daily Paul, we kept our voters later after the actual voting to sign up as delegates! Plus, Iowa has a proportional delegate system, so Romney and Santorum’s popular vote leads may in fact not give them many more delegates! Aaaand, the delegates they do get are not binding

Over 26,000 people voted for RP in Iowa!!!
Winning!!!
