I just found out that late last year the Irish government passed a law which forces people, when selling any piece of art which they own, to give a percentage of the money recieved to the artist, if they sell the piece of art for more than they bought it for.
I also found out that the government has informed a man who has discovered €50m worth of gold beneath his land that he has no right to it and that it all belongs to the government under Irish law.
