Natural law does not exist.. As Austrian thinking says there are no aggregates. There is no Macro or Micro economics. There is just economics and begins with the individual. As you can see wolfman’s law differs a lot from josh’s law. Whether these two individuals ever go to war to cut their heads off or work together for a common purpose is left to their level of civilization and humanization.
In the absence of government you will turn into a barbarian either to take from somone or to avoid being taken from someone.
I think you are confused. Austrian thinking does not say there is no Natural Law
“Austrian thinking”, as you like to put it, says that order emerges in the absence of planning. Take the market for example, where government interferes, there is no order, and where government is absent, there is equilibrium.
You don’t seem to have a firm grasp on Austrian Economics (or Natural Law). This would be an interesting discussion to have with you but you don’t seem interested in a discussion. You simply reply to questions with cryptic questions that have no obvious relevance to the post you are replying to. That being the case, I’m happy to let you wallow in ignorance.
Run from your inner contradictions, however - it won’t get you far.
Your ignorance on the differences between economics and philosophy is mind boggling. You hardly seem intellectually honest anymore, i.e here to learn and ponder. As such, I won’t be feeding you anymore. [troll]
The best advise anyone can give here is to keep reading. Try to avoid any antagonism, even if it’s coming to you. Keep reading for a year or so on this stuff. Don’t be too loud or overt about it yet, especially if you are still grasping the concepts. Eventually you will come to all the right conclusions on your own, your already halfway there. In time you’ll be able to carry your own weight. [:)]
People here are goign to probe and pron you for being a minarchist. They so quickly forgot that they themselves were once in your shoes. So ignore then, and don’t feel obligated to answer. Just keep reading.
Now how does it feel knowing what we know? Two things.
1: Blissful joyful freedom. Freedom for knowing the truth, and how to succeed
2: Depression that so many people get it so wrong.
It’s like the matrix analogy, some people prefer to be in the matrix. We here do not.
When I was questioned about my inconsistencies it made me reevaluate my ideas to remove any contradictions. If I wouldn’t have been challenged, I seriously doubt I would be an AnCap now.
There’s a difference between law and opinion. Laws are grounded in reality. My opinion doesn’t invalidate quantum mechanics. You can’t say “a’s” physics differs from “b’s” physics because “a” rejects quantum mechanics. Reality is causally connected and obeys certain rules: gravity, praxeology, ect.
Look, I’m sorry to inform you of this, but you aren’t an economist. An economist is someone who has a PhD or an MS/MA in economics from a legitimate university/college or someone whose professional job title is “economist.” Besides that, very few people can actually be called economists. Only because you read a few books by some economists doesn’t make you one.
I’m not insulting you, as the same applies to me and the rest of the board (with a few exceptions like George Selgin who has been known to post on this board every once in a while).
I respectfully disagree. Shouldn’t knowledge be the determining factor, not perceived legitimacy? For instance, I would very much consider certain intelligent, competent posters on here to be truer economists than Krugman.
I’m going to have to ask this given some of your questions: just how daft are you? We’re not here to feed trolls or the intellectually invalid. Read some of the articles people have (generously) provided you, then come back and discuss the topic informed, rather than blurting out stupid questions.
