Libertarians For Obama

No. Sorry. The poor person voting himself someone elses paycheck is not doing so because his paycheck could be voted from him. Those are two completely different issues.

The poor may not want to work in a market where the government creates structured unemployment preventing them from moving around the market freely. What does not follow is that they can force other’s to subsidize their desires not to work as a “wage slave”.

Oh really!? The founding fathers binded themselves to the constitution and no one else! Not you, Not me and nobody else! In fact, the only thing the government has you or your parents sign is for you to get a social insecurity number! If thats not fraud or treason then I don’t know what is! If you believe what you just said then you need to read Lysander Spooners “No Treason” especially part (no) VI “The Constitution of no Authority” I’ll even give you the link: http://www.lysanderspooner.org/notreason.htm. It is because of this and Bastiats “The Law” paper that I became a libertarian!

Reason would dictate someone who has a blog titled “No Treason” is probably on the up & up with Spooner’s works.

I mean what I say!Stop trying to read between the lines because there are no lines in between that needs to be read!!! I just asked a question! I asked that question to see if the poster was biased.

Why So Serious?

There’s no need to get defensive, really. If don’t respect other’s ability to posit their own opinions and/or views & take it all in stride, I don’t see how you would enjoy being on a forum, much less this one.

Michael,

My point was the Founders were the ones who went to war with the King, and tried to establish a republic. No, it was not ideal. Yes, I am a big Spooner fan.

The point is, WTF have Americans done since the revolution? Go completely backwards… The average American has sacrificed nothing for his country, doesn’t even understand liberty or a republic, let alone actively crusade for either.

Hey, Americans are just as despicable as everyone else. But that’s my point. The only ones who think you guys are exceptional (when compared to Canadians, or Europeans or Asians) are you!

I think it’s a good idea for you to drop it, and stop race baiting in the future.

This is a vice?

Ummmmm… if a poor person votes to get a portion of someone else’s paychek then he wouldn’t be voting his own paycheck from himself because he voted for someone elses paycheck. I mean he wouldn’t be getting a paycheck he will be getting a welfare check.

I’m a advocate of free speach, Express your opinion all you want just don’t call me a racist when i’m not! I’m sure you wouldn’t like to be called a racist if your not! If you would like it or if you would ignore it then more power to you!

I’m race baiting now? You don’t get it do you?

sorry if i hurted your feelings. I’m not a racist

I don’t think Michael was race-baiting. Can we please put the discussion to an end and get back on topic?

-Jon

Sorry, I meant by country, the supposed ideals that make Americans so much more excellent than everyone else.

Liberty, land of the free, home of the brave, shining city on the hill, defender of democracy etc.

I agree on the latter, but the former is clearly contradicted by previous posts.

As you say, let’s move on.

I am supporting Obama because:

  1. This is a forum of freedom. I am free to support whoever I want to campaing for.

  2. I have a nice group of friends in the U.S. (see the 4 articles in my blog on this site for further reference) who also support Obama and they encourage me to support Obama as well. They are sorry I cannot vote for him and they appreciate that I am able to motivate people who are registered to vote. So my voice can be transformed into someone else’s vote.

  3. Sarah Palin suggested to impose economic sanctions to Venezuela as if this were Cuba and as if they were to have any positive effect for either country.

  4. He wants to dialogue with Chávez instead of ignoring him. Bush has ignored Chávez and that policy has not given him any good results.

  5. At least he had some objections to the bailout plan, while McCain wanted to sign it unconditionally.

  6. The world needs a change in leadership

etc. etc. etc.

This is a forum of individuals: “Judge, and be prepared to be judged.” Michael S. seems unable to except that, but at least you are not forcing your views, however possibly controversial, onto others.

Why exactly was my post marxist?

Yes, totally. Why not?

Because it’s theft.

What are you? The thought police?
